Manchester Youth Open: 17/11/2024

Well done to all the Squad members who took part in the Manchester Youth Open 2024 and Jaime Pratley Sensei took part in the EKF 1 Series in Worcester!

We had a fantastic day and this offered an excellent opportunity to the developmental squad to gain some valuable experience. We are in a transitional period and we are so proud of all of you. Medal or no medal, you were brave enough to try and will come back stronger next time.

Well done to the following Red Tigers who took part: Arthur Purdy, William Cristoforo, Barbara Celinska, Joe Rutter, Benjamin McDermott, Loui D’Attorre, Jayden Clarke, Esme Smith, Lois Cowley and Mitchell Little. Unfortunately Marley Little had to pull out through injury but was there to offer his support.

With it being a local comp, a fair few Instructors turned up to cheer on the team and this was really appreciated by all.

Thanks to the parents who gave up their day and all the coaches who came along and helped the team.

Our Team earned 9 medals between them:

1 Gold Medal: Benjamin McDermott (Kata)

4 Silver Medals: Mitchell Little x 2 (Kumite), Loui D’Attorre (Kumite) and Jayden Clarke (Kumite)

4 Bronze Medals: Lois Cowley (Kumite), Esme Smith (Kumite), Loui D’Attorre (Kumite) and Jayden Clarke (Kumite)
